Next week celebrates Hour of Code, a worldwide initiative to get people coding with free, one-hour online lessons. This is really cool because I think a lot of people, especially girls, might be too intimidated to take a class in coding. They might be more likely to take a one-hour lesson in the comfort and privacy of home, and gain some confidence.
This week on the Parenting Bytes podcast we talked to a couple of experts about kids and coding, including some online and offline ways to learn how to code.
And of course we had our Bytes of the Week!
I hope you’ll check out the Hour of Code links on our Facebook page, and get your kids involved – or get involved yourself!
If you’d prefer to listen on iTunes you can do that too – and we’d really appreciate a rating and review!!
If you got something out of this post I’d really appreciate a share on Twitter or Facebook, or a pin on Pinterest!
