Looking for a great gift, or want to treat yourself? You can’t go wrong with Knomo bags. Not only do they look great, but they have tech touches like RFID pockets and padded laptop sections. Read on for some of my new favorites.

I love bags and purses so much that technically, I probably have a problem. So I was excited to see some beautiful pieces from one of my favorite brands, Knomo. Why do I love Knomo bags so much? Because they combine beautiful exteriors with tech-savvy practically.

Many of their bags have a pocket with RFID-blocking technology, and once you’ve stashed your passport and credit cards in a protected pocket, you’ll feel vulnerable without one. Plus, you can register your bag’s unique Knomo ID, and if you lose your bag, whoever finds it can return it to you through the Knomo portal.

Knomo Bags - Amy Oztan with the Woodstock purse in blackKnomo gave me this Woodstock cross-body bag and I’ve been using it for the past few months. It’s the perfect size for when you need more than your phone but don’t want to take the kitchen sink with you. I love its simplicity, and how the straps are behind the bag, instead of attached to the top. This makes the bag lay flat against my body. Plus, it has an RFID pocket!

Knomo Bags - bags from the V&A Collection in Night ForestThe V&A Collection is a collaboration with London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, using a print from the museum’s archives. Available in a bold black-and-white print or a more somber blue-and-black called Night Forest, the ten pieces in this Art Deco collection include everything from wallets to briefcases.

Knomo Bags - the Cromwell Rolltop Backpack and the Dale Tote BackpackThe bag on the left in the picture above is the Cromwell Rolltop Backpack, which has a padded laptop compartment and a detachable chest strap. It’s water-resistant, and the rolltop feature makes it airtight. The Cromwell is an economical choice, too.

The white bag on the right is the Dale 15” Tote Backpack, and I love it because it doesn’t scream BACKPACK! when it’s not actually on your back (in fact, the backpack straps are detachable). It has padded laptop and tablet sections, an RFID blocking pocket to keep your information safe, and a hidden section for slipping the backpack onto a suitcase, making it great for traveling. And while I would never get it in white leather (I’m way too much of a disaster for anything white), it’s also available in black leather and brown leather.
