Last year for my husband’s birthday I wanted to get him a really good pillow. Since he likes his pillows soft and I like mine very firm, I got a different one for each of us, both of them expensive, premium-quality pillows. He said he liked his, and mine was fine; not as firm as I would have liked, but fine.
After a couple of weeks, Omer admitted that he didn’t like his pillow. It was just way too soft. He hadn’t wanted to tell me that he didn’t like his gift, but he just couldn’t sleep on it anymore. With our old pillows already gone, I gave him mine (it was supposed to be a gift, after all!). And I was stuck with a way-too-soft pillow that I had to fold in half just to be semi-comfortable.
Buying two of these Protect-A-Bed Luxury Adjustable Pillow Systems would have been a much better idea. My new pillow arrived plump and firm, exactly how I like it. If it were for my husband (It’s not! It’s mine!), he could very easily remove as much of the stuffing as he wanted, to make it perfect for him. You just unzip a little flap and totally customize it.
The pillow comes with an innovative cover that utilizes something called Miracle Membrane®, which protects against dust mites and allergens. The cover is made from Tencel®, a hypoallergenic, eucalyptus-based fiber. And it has a neat air release flap on one end so that when you plop your head down on the pillow, the displaced air can get out easily.
The Protect-A-Bed Luxury Adjustable Pillow System comes in standard/queen size. You can get more info on their blog.
I’ve been sleeping on my new pillow for a few nights now, and it’s heavenly. One of you will get your own Protect-A-Bed Luxury Adjustable Pillow System, valued at $129!
