New Post: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Banana Muffins
I’m shutting down for two weeks. I’ve never done that before.
There have been many times over the years when I just didn’t post for a while, either because I was busy or lazy or had nothing to say. But I’ve never taken an actual, planned vacation. I never seem to look far ahead in enough time to manage it.
But it’s the last gasp of summer, and my kids are both finally home from camp. Except for one lunch a few weeks ago, the entire family—all four of us—haven’t been together in almost two months. Both kids are starting new schools next week (one middle school, one high school!!), I have a ton of stuff lined up for the fall work-wise, and things are going to get busy. So I’m going to take a breather before all of that happens.
More driven, ambitious, organized people would have planned out two weeks worth of posts and scheduled them out and all of that. That’s so very much not me. I’m just going to go quiet for two weeks (I’ll still be on Twitter and Facebook though, because I don’t consider that work).
If you’re looking for something of mine to read, perhaps there are posts that you haven’t read yet from the this list. Some I’m just proud of. Others didn’t get as many views as they should have the first time around. And some just contain awesome info that you really should know and might have missed. Here are some of my favorites from 2012, and I’ll see you later!
[Edited to add: My friend Toni asked me on Facebook why 2012? Well, because 2012 is far enough back that some of my current readers probably weren’t reading me back then, but not so far back that my writing totally sucked ass.]
