The Disney face masks I’ve been waiting for!!

Disney has finally come out with some fun masks! These Disney face masks come in a variety of themes, and should start shipping by mid-June, with all profits going to vulnerable communities in the US. #Coronavirus

Have you been wondering if Disney would put out face masks? Well, the answer is yes, and they’re pretty awesome!

Disney face masks

The Disney Store is now taking pre-orders for its new face masks!!

There are Mickey and Minnie masks, Star Wars masks, Disney Princess masks, Pixar masks (that’s what I ordered!!), Marvel masks, and more.

All profits (up to a million dollars, through the end of September) will be distributed in vulnerable communities around the country, through MedShare. There’s more info on the product page.

Do I love Disney merch?

Yes.
Sparkly red Mickey Mouse bag sitting in a suitcase

Yes.
Red sparkly bracelet on my arm in The Disney Store

Yes I do.
Purple Dooney & Bourke Haunted Mansion purse and purple MagicBand

So basically, I’ve been waiting for these masks.

Not these exact masks. I would love some Disney Parks masks. I once went to a party at a conference in Disney World dressed as Madame Leota from The Haunted Mansion, and if Disney adds a Madame Leota mask I will pair it with a wig as I go about my business in Brooklyn.

And I would always welcome more Pixar masks! Darla from Nemo was probably my best costume EVER. If there’s a Darla mask I will put my hair in pigtails and wear my Rock n Roll Girl sweatshirt.

But for now, I’m happy that these will be on their way to me soon.

They’re sold in sets of four, in three sizes. There’s a really easy sizing guide on the product pages.

According to the website, Disney expects these masks to start shipping in mid-June. Sadly, I think we’re going to wearing masks in public for a long time, so we can at least make it a little bit fun, especially for kids.

Don’t panic!

Can’t reach the product page? Don’t panic, and don’t reload the page. You’re actually in line.

The Disney Store site has had trouble loading at times, as word has gotten out about these masks. But leave it to Disney to take care of you while you’re waiting! It will reload the page for you when it’s your turn. So, instead of dealing with slow pages and a wonky experience, they’re just managing their queue, as they would at a Disney park.
