I’m not even going to pretend I’m a football fan. And yet, I have people over for the Big Game every year. Why? Because it’s a great excuse to serve a steady stream of snack food for hours and hours!
Babbleboxx sent me some food and drinks to try out while planning my game day snacks menu, and I enlisted my family to help! The conversation with my husband basically went like this:
Me: Hey, I need your help!
Him: Ugh, what? It’s Sunday!
Me: Could you come sit on the couch and drink beer and eat food and watch TV while I take some pictures of you?
Him: This is the best Sunday ever.
Garden of Eatin’ Tortilla Chips
I was sent two flavors of Garden of Eatin’ Organic Corn Tortilla Chips to try: Ranch and Nacho. Garden of Eatin’ has been around for more than 40 years, and I’m already a huge fan of their Blue Corn Tortilla Chips, so I was excited to try these flavors!
These tortilla chips not only taste great, they’ve got short lists of ingredients (with no artificial flavors or preservatives) and less fat than similar chips. They’re also gluten free, which gives me hope that if I ever have to give up gluten I’ll survive.
Better Bean Co Dips
Honestly I thought red beans only came in two forms: dried in a bag (takes a long time), or not dried in a can (what I’d been using). But I was sent two flavors of Better Bean Co Dips to try and I am never going back to canned again!! These beans are made in small batches and are sold in the refrigerator section.
You can just open up the tub and eat the fresh beans straight from there (which I did), since they’re already soaked and ready to go. But I heated them up before serving them to my family. I left the Roasted Chipotle Red Beans alone, and to the Skillet Refried Red Beans I just added a little shredded cheddar and sour cream.
My husband loved the Chipotle flavor, he said it had a nice kick. I preferred the red beans, and I’ll be stocking up on them to use in recipes and nachos (if you follow me on social media you know that I make a LOT of nachos).

Full Sail Brewery Session Premium Lager
My husband had the difficult job of trying the Full Sail Brewery Session Premium Lager, and he loved it! It’s an all-malt lager that made it onto a prestigious top ten list of lagers brewed in the US, and was named the #1 American Pilsner.
Plus, it comes in these really funky, short bottles! Very cool.
