My Samsung Blackjack 2 Smartphone giveaway is tearing me up inside. Normally with giveaways I feel like Oprah, getting to give things to people and feeling all warm and mushy. But the smartphone giveaway is making me dread actually having to pick a winner. The begging! The sad stories! Luckily, Random.org won’t be swayed by the contents of the comments, but I sure am. I wish I could give everyone a phone, but I can’t. I can, however, direct you here, where Kim from Hormone-colored Days has gathered up a bunch of current blog giveaways in one place. I just entered a bunch of good ones (hey, I don’t want to feel like Oprahall the time, I want to get stuff too!).
Also, while we’re on the subject of giving and getting, there’s less than a week left in the all-in-good-fun blog competition to see which city can raise the most money through DonorsChoose.org. And frankly, NYC is getting its clock cleaned. But it’s not too late to turn that around, and any amount will help out some NYC public school kids. Five bucks is welcome! Five! And you can pick which project the money goes to. Just go here and pick a project from that page to donate to.
It’s easy to think that if you only give a small amount to a charity, it’s just going into a big pool of money and not making a difference. But in this case, you will be directly helping specific kids in specific schools with a specific project or item. So please check it out!
Thanks you guys!
