New Post: Fancy Baked Ziti
We’ve been HelloFresh customers for years, and dozens of their recipes have made their way into my regular rotation. HelloFresh often sends spice mixes along with the other recipe ingredients, so the first time I needed to use the HelloFresh Southwest Spice Blend, I found it on their website. But since it’s in a video and goes by very fast, I thought I’d write it out for you!
I don’t make this each time I’m making a recipe that uses it. Instead, I make enough to last for a few recipes, and I keep it in a little container with my spices. Check the recipe notes to see how you can scale the amount up or down.
Southwest Spice Blend Recipe
I use this spice mix pretty much any time I make Mexican food.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
Instructions
- Mix together in a small bowl
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature
Notes
Want to make more, or less? Just use 2 parts garlic powder, one part ground cumin, and one park chili powder.
